Dr. Janet Lee

As the new orthodontist at Dr. Vanessa Kung’s Dental Office, I’m excited to offer services that help patients achieve their best possible smile. Having personally experienced the transformation that braces can bring, I understand the value of a beautiful, healthy smile and am excited to share that with others.

I spent my childhood in Seoul, Korea, and later migrated with my parents to Vancouver. After completing my Bachelor’s degree at the University of British Columbia and a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Toronto, I worked as a general dentist for ten years in Toronto’s public health clinics serving the community.

Now, as an American Board-certified orthodontist, I provide various orthodontic services to all ages, including clear aligners to traditional bracket and wire options. I prioritize maintaining good oral hygiene and regular dental check-ups during orthodontic treatment and value a multidisciplinary approach towards oral healthcare.

After work, I enjoy spending time with family (four girls, husband, and my cat). I am a big fan of cooking, gardening, Pilates and watching Korean dramas.

Book an appointment with me if you have any questions about braces. I look forward to working together to create many bright smiles.
